We have a wealth of experience in Child Care services, and we truly understand the need for flexibility in the programs we offer. We understand that a family's needs for child care may change as time goes on, perhaps because of changes in parents' work schedules, or extra-curricular activities as the children get older, or other family matters.
By offering a full array of programs, including Full-time and Part-time schedules, Before and/or After school care and drop-in service for registered students, we help ease the burden of having to meet a rigid child care schedule.
Infants

Our infant program (ages 3–18 mos.) provides a soothing, nurturing, safe environment where parents can leave their child, while they work, secure in the knowledge that they will receive loving care throughout the day.
Daily schedules will vary based on the individual needs of each child. Stimulating activities will be designed to meet developmentally appropriate practices. These will include: music, movement, motor development, language, exploration and sensory experiences.
Communication with parents will be open and ongoing to ensure complete, collaborative care. Daily care sheets will be provided at pick up for parents to, see-at-a-glance, information regarding sleeping, feeding, changing and daily activities.
Toddlers

Our toddler program (ages 18–36 mos.) is designed to make learning enjoyable through a variety of experiences including: music and movement, stories, exploration, arts & crafts, learning centers, indoor/outdoor play and hands on activities.
Circle time will provide opportunities for children to learn, in a fun manner, through our developmentally appropriate curriculum which includes: language, colors, shapes, numbers, name recognition and a variety of weekly themes. In addition, children will gain social skills as they learn to be part of a community through group activities, sharing meals and indoor/outdoor play.

Throughout the day, children are engaged in activities that enhance language skills, promote imagination and guide them toward independence. Teachers use arts and crafts, music and literature to fill days with meaning. The children have opportunities to work on small motor skills through age-appropriate puzzles, games and toys.
For Kids Only is licensed by New York State Office of Children and Family Services which allows us to offer extended hours to our nursery school parents. Registered children may remain for lunch, rest and afternoon activities at an hourly rate. Parents may indicate a set number of hours each week when registering their child or call on an as-needed basis.

Our before/after school program is open year round, including days when schools are delayed or closed. It offers a wide variety of choices for children; good books, age appropriate games, computers, sports and creative arts activities. Homework help is provided.
Children are introduced to a variety of community service opportunities. Grades 4+ have an opportunity to assist in the operation of our school store. Indoor gym gives flexibility during inclement weather.
We also offer a Drop In program for children to attend on 1/2 days, holidays, school closings and snow days only. Children attending this program must have a complete registration including medical forms. Fees for the Drop In program will be applied at an hourly rate.
All school-age children are accompanied to and from school bus for pick up and drop off by staff.
Our program continues from school's closing through August.
Kitchen & Sample Menu
Bonnie, our cook, has been at For Kids Only since it opened in 1996. The children enjoy her homemade meals. All the children agree that Bonnie makes the best food! All foods are prepared on premises in our commercial kitchen. Fruits and vegetables are purchased fresh weekly. Visit our kitchen and see our sample menu.
